Last Dance

I recently shot an 8th Grade Dinner Dance at a local grade school. For this event, the parents spend hours decking out the gym with a secret theme and lots of surprises for the graduating 8th grade class, who won't see the finished product or know any of the details before being walked in together at the time of the dance.

Once they're inside, the students have a lovely dinner together, and then get out on the dance floor with their parents.

It's a cool experience, watching teenagers rock out on the dance floor with abandon, right alongside their parents. I'll be shooting their graduation next week, and look forward to spending more time with this group!
